Natalie T 03-Mar-2023Came in for a filling and was not told prior about what the procedure would consist of. When I asked the response I received from the assistant was something along the lines of "you came in for an appointment and don't know why your here?" I responded with, I know why I'm here, I meant that I was not told prior as to what the procedure itself would consist of. The doctor then came in to explain so I then explained I had a somewhat traumatic experience with nova cane in the past so I was very nervous. The first injection I unfortunately had a slight panic attack but nothing too major, but the comment I received afterwards of "you people psych yourselves out" was not helpful and did not make me feel better about my reaction. I've also never had a needle stuck in my gums before. The procedure itself otherwise was fine. At one point I asked for more numbing which I received and was totally fine with. But the very start I don't feel like I was fully prepared for what my appointment was going to consist of. I like coming here and everyone has been very friendly and I will continue to do so but a little kindness and understanding would have been appreciated as well as a briefing on the procedure itself.

Absolutely recommend to anyone that’s nervous about going to the dentist, you’ll feel at ease. Plus it doesn’t smell weird like all the other dentist offices.
